Basic Design

Degassing units are manufactured to optimize the degassing or venting of an extrusion process. In special

cases these devices can also be used for the removal of liquids.

The screws of the degassing unit can be designed as compact screws in one piece or they can be made

out of segments for more flexibility in wear protection and in process adaption. Our degassing units achieve

excellent degassing results, even under the most difficult processing conditions.

They can be individually adapted to the requirements of degassing volume, available space and connection

dimenstions of the existing degassing barrel at the main extruder. Our system is available with diameters

from 25mm to 160mm.
